Ohio has passed a new law regarding concussions and returning to play that went into effect on April 26, 2013. As part of that law, all coaches and officials of youth sports programs are required to be trained in the identification of concussions. Additionally, all clubs are required to provide parents/guardians of players with an information sheet about concussions and head injuries created by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
