A2 (aka A-squared), has created multiple programs for younger players to develop their game.  Each of these programs is designed for youth players (typically grade 6 and below), that are at varying levels of their volleyball development.

  1. Wee Squares (Children typically entering or in grades K-3):  Wee-squares is geared around early school age children that are either brand new or relatively new to the game of volleyball. The program is open to both boys and girls in grades K-3.  Instruction will be focused on learning the correct techniques in all the major areas of volleyball play and having fun.  More information (and registration for any current offerings) is available on the Wee Squares page.
  2. Mini Squares (Children typically entering or in grades 4-6):  Mini-squares (similar to Wee-squares) is generally an entry level program for slightly older children.  The program is open to both boys and girls.  The focus in on the fundamentals of volleyball, but will move at a faster pace and will generally be 2 hour (instead of 1 hour) sessions.  This is a good entry point for athletes that have played some rec league volleyball or are totally new to the game and looking for focused instruction.  More information (and registration for any current offerings) is available on the Mini Squares page.
  3. Super Squares (Also for children entering or in grades 4-6):  Super-squares is a new program for the more advanced player in Grades 4-6.  All players that have either played club (one year) or recreationally (two years) will have the opportunity to be pushed even further.  If you are looking at a future in high level club volleyball and have already realized that volleyball is a sport for you, then this is the program you are looking for.  Come be pushed to your best and prepare for your club and middle school teams.  More information (and registration for any current offerings) is available on the Super Squares page.
